Aventador - Update*
Saturday, January 14, 2012 Posted by Raziel the Fallen at 5:06 PM | Labels: 3D, Automotive, Lamborghini, Lamborghini Aventador, WIPJust a few more updates. Bonnet is somewhat completed. Edge chamfering is left. Also started to do the headlights. This could be one of the most sophisticated headlight design I've ever seen. It looks like an eye! ^_^ Strikingly beautiful, very stylish, flows with the curves of the car body.
*Update*
Working on the tail lights. It took quite a bit of time to get this done, mainly to figure out the shape of the star shaped components inside. The reflectors and the details inside the light are yet to be made. Loving the design!
**Update*
Mirror completed!

Saturday, October 8, 2011 Posted by Raziel the Fallen at 12:20 AM | Labels: 3D, Automotive, Lamborghini, Lamborghini Aventador, WIPFew more updates on the body. The reference photos were scaled to real dimensions of the Aventador I got from various Lamborghini websites. I had to redo the front area due to some accuracy problems. The mesh is not perfect but I will try to fix the problems later once I get the overall shape right. Some cuts are made on the side to extrude the air intake. The rear is also shaping up after referring hundreds of photos I collected. I just love this car..what a fantastic design!
** The wheel is also in progress. The spokes are done and need to be welded on to the rim. The disc caliper and some parts inside the wheel are yet to be modeled. These are few test renders.

Thursday, August 25, 2011 Posted by Raziel the Fallen at 1:01 PM | Labels: 3D, 3ds Max, Automotive, Car, Lamborghini Aventador, WIPThe new Lamborghini Aventador is a design marvel! Looks a bit like a blend of Murcielago and Reventon, but still very unique and super stylish. One of the hottest car I've ever seen. Unfortunately no blueprints are available. So I'm trying to model from the reference photos and videos I have collected. For the top view I'm using the Lamborghini Reventon's blueprint as a basic guide as they both look roughly the same. I hope I can finish this with some fair looking results.
Building the front area now, the mesh is not perfect but I will tweak it later once I get the basic shape right.
